 The first Uccello's Ristorante, Pizzeria and Sports Lounge was opened in Grand Rapids
near the corner of the East Beltline and 28th St. in 1996, although the concept actually began back in 1978. When Faro Uccello opened
this location, he began with homemade recipes straight from Sicily and a commitment to excellence. Faro was dedicated to providing the
very best in food quality and portions, guest service, and "sports fan" atmosphere. Uccello's has been rewarded for following through
with their commitment to excellence by being voted both Best Sports Lounge & Best Pizza by the Grand Rapids magazine readers on multiple
occasions.
 As Uccello's reputation grew around town and business increased,
the Uccello's family decided it was time to grow. In 2005, two more Uccello's Ristorantes were opened, in Standale
and Caledonia. In November of 2011, the Grandville location was opened to much anticipation. All of the Uccello's
locations have been embraced by their surrounding communities.
Uccello's Ristorante has continually evolved its business plan to meet the growing needs of the restaurant industry,
from redesign & expansion of the seasonal patios to continual TV upgrades throughout the locations. Banquet facilities and
catering services have also been added to bring the Uccello's experience to any and all occasions. The Uccello's team, thrilled
by the continued growth and opportunities, started considering the addition to the Uccello's family through franchising.
 In June of 2009, the Uccello's team was registered in the state of
Michigan to begin franchising the Uccello's concept. Faro and all of the Uccello's family are excited to take the next
step in bringing the Uccello's experience to new communities.
